Filling the Interracial Cup

You cannot drink the cup of the Lord and the cup of demons too; you cannot have a part in both the Lord’s table and the table of demons (1 Corinthians 10:21). I will take the cup of salvation, and call upon the name of the LORD (Psalm 116:13). Give thanks to the LORD, call upon His name; make known His deeds among the nations (Psalm 105:1). The LORD is my chosen portion and my cup; You have made my lot secure (Psalm 16:5).

Currently, the world is drinking from the interracial cup. If there was any confusion about how black people are treated within the borders of America, the confusion has now been far removed. The cry of black Americans is being heard around the globe and the nations of earth are crying along with us. The veil has been torn down and the white supremacists are scrabbling to maintain power, protect their stolen resources, and condemn those more righteous then themselves.

Pat Robertson, a suspected white supremacists, quasi Christian, takes to media to condemn the actions of President Trump.

It is time to drink from the interracial cup. Pat Robertson is drinking. Celebrities like John Boyega are drinking. Blake Lively is trying to drink with a $200,000 donation to the NAACP and a comment about checking her white privilege. Taylor Swift is drinking. Many other celebrities are drinking and some are being put on blast like Lea Michelle for her racism. The protest is like a flashlight shining on everyone and revealing who everyone is.

It is time to take that interracial drink. Drink and keep drinking. Do not stop drinking until your belly is full and your life overflows with truth.
