Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers. For what partnership can righteousness have with wickedness? Or what fellowship does light have with darkness? What harmony is there between Christ and Belial? Or what does a believer have in common with an unbeliever? What agreement can exist between the temple of God and idols?
For we are the temple of the living God.
As God has said: “I will dwell with them and walk among them, and I will be their God, and they will be My people.” “Therefore come out from among them and be separate, says the Lord. Touch no unclean thing, and I will receive you.” And: “I will be a Father to you, and you will be My sons and daughters, says the Lord Almighty” (2 Corinthians 6:14-18).
You can miss God in your association with devils. You cannot touch the unclean and expect through prayer God’s answer. He will not hear you. “The Lord hasn’t lost his powerful strength; he can still hear and answer prayers, but your iniquities have made a separation between you and your God, and your sins have hidden his face from you so that he does not hear” (Isaiah 59:1-2). When one says there is no God and He does not answer prayer and pour out favor, it is directly tied to their willful disobedience. Disobeying the commands of God and expecting a relationship with Him is foolish. You will have better earthly results praying to Satan or worshiping crystals where demons dwell.
Most people miss God right here. “This explains why a man leaves his father and mother and is joined to his wife, and the two will become one flesh.’ So they are no longer two, but one flesh. One flesh in God and blessed and highly favored because they agree with one another and dwell in partnerships with the righteous. “If anyone comes to your meeting and does not teach the truth about Christ, don’t invite that person into your home or give any kind of encouragement” (2 John 1:10).
You are called to keep yourself clean. For the clean man and woman are received by God and His ears are open to your request.
