Some would never consider marrying someone who wasn’t the same ethnicity as them, so let me tell you why I did. We ran in the same circles and we ended up joining the same church, so we saw each other a lot. And the more I got to know her, the more I was drawn to her. She really loved Jesus and she had this childlike willingness to do whatever He asked. Her compassion for needy people challenged me and she had a humble heart that responded to the Word. – Trip Lee
Because we live in a world dominated by white supremacy, people coming together in marriage from different races must have alien reasons for intermingling. I am sure you have heard all kinds of stereotypical reasons for people coming together as one. However, it is no different then people marrying within their race.
Why do people marry one another? 1) Proximity 2) Filled A Need 3) Time and Chance The same goes for interracial marriage.
All other reasons have no logical support and/or stem from personal bias and old wives fables.
As a Christian, we are called to marry in the Lord. A saved man marries a saved woman. Anything outside this as a Christian is sin. Unless, you have been called to remain single and that is another blog all together.
