Then Peter, filled with the Holy Spirit, said to them, “Rulers and elders of the people! If we are being examined today about a kind service to a man who was lame, to determine how he was healed, then let this be known to all of you and to all the people of Israel: It is by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom you crucified but whom God raised from the dead, that this man stands before you healed. This Jesus is ‘the stone you builders rejected, which has become the cornerstone.’ Salvation exists in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to men by which we must be saved (Acts 4″8-12).”
Jesus is the only superhero to bring salvation to them that believe. Every effort to make this life a success without Him is futile. You will earn a living, you will fight and you will die and go to hell without a Savior. For we are more then our outer appearance and flesh and bone. Our spirit will live on and the physical body will die, but what determines where that spirit spends eternity is God. God uses Jesus as the key. “For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— not by works, so that no one can boast (Ephesians 2:8-9).
“Believe on the Lord Jesus and you will be saved, you and your household.” Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned. If you confess with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.
Jesus is the only the superhero that will save your soul from eternal damnation. Consider these words and make this profession and let this be your foundation. Any other foundation and you will be damned. Do not be deceived and do not let the devil trick you into believing another gospel, which is not another gospel at all.
Live for the Jesus.
Let your garments always be white, and never spare the oil for your head. Enjoy life with your beloved wife all the days of the fleeting life that God has given us under the sun.
